Key qualification details & requirements of the S@VCH program The S@VCH is a six-week summer virtual program taught by credentialed high school teachers with an emphasis on civic engagement and youth development principles.

- SY20/21 Sophomores & Juniors qualify to apply if they attend an eligible HS or live within the Sacramento city limits
- Morning instructional class sessions begin Monday, June 21st with additional mandatory virtual orientation & workshop (refer to the table below).
- Instructional classes will be virtual via Zoom and Google Classroom.
- Completion of a required 42-hour Life Skills Workshop series which is scheduled in the afternoons after instructional class sessions.
- Participants will receive a $350 stipend upon completion of the program.
- Participants will receive five-elective credits (student attending one of the eligible district high schools) or community service letter (At-large student living within the Sacramento city limits).
